Minot State Alumni Association to host social in Las Vegas
MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State University Alumni Association is hosting an Alumni & Friends Social in fabulous Las Vegas as the Minot State men’s hockey team plays in the UNLV Holiday Classic Jan. 11-12.
The Alumni & Friends Social will take place on Jan. 11 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill and Pub (1550 S. Pavilion Center Dr., Las Vegas). There will be free food and a cash bar. Register for the event at MinotStateU.edu/alumni.
“It’s our first alumni and friends social in the Las Vegas area and partnering with such a successful program like Minot State men’s hockey will be a great addition to our yearly events,” said Janna McKechnie, director of alumni and annual giving. “We’re excited to see new and familiar faces from the area and connect with our alumni and friends.”
The Beavers play Thursday, Jan. 9 against host UNLV at 7:30 p.m. at the City National Arena. The Beavers will play at 3 p.m. against Arizona State on Saturday, Jan. 11. MSU will finish its tournament schedule on Sunday, Jan. 12 with either the consolation game at 12:30 p.m. or the championship set for 3:30 p.m.
