NoDAKoN's Cybersecurity Summit will be live streamed

MINOT, N.D. – Minot State University College of Business, in partnership with business information technology faculty and students, the MSU SWIFT Club, and the Computer Science Club, will live stream NoDAKoN 2023's Cybersecurity Summit on Thursday, Oct. 26.

The Cybersecurity Summit is free and open to the public and will run from 12:30-3 p.m. at Ann Nicole Nelson Hall and the McFarland Gallery in Old Main. It features a welcome from Brekka Kramer, Minot Area Chamber EDC president, and keynote address from Mark Gorenflo, chief of staff/director of innovation and economic development at the North Dakota University System. Tony Auckland from NDIT will lead a panel from 12:50-1:50 p.m. featuring Luis Estrada, senior vice president for information security/strategic initiatives for First Western Bank and Trust; Rob Crawford, senior manager, cyber security from Hess; Chris Gergen, director of cyber operations at ND ITD; Scott Dietrich, principal owner of Proven Consulting, LLC; and Nathan Kitchens, IT security engineer with SRT. The panelists will stay for a short Q&A session.
