We are excited for you to live-on at Minot State. The Residence Halls open for Fall 2024 on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 9:00am.
Friday and Saturday are an opportunity to move-in and get settled. Campus Welcome Week
festivities kick off Sunday, August 25 at 5pm.
Residence Hall Check-In Times:
Friday, 9am-5pm - 5pm Hall Meeting
Saturday, 9am-5pm – 5pm Hall Meeting
Sunday, 9pm-4pm – 4pm Hall Meeting - Welcome Week kicks-off at 5pm with Recfest
Monday, 10am-2pm - 5pm Hall Meeting
*All Residence Hall students must attend a Hall Meeting.
Arriving outside of posted hours?If you need to check-in outside of the posted check-in times please email msu.housing@minotstateu.edu or call 701-858-3363, during our business hours Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
Residence Hall Contact Information:
Apply for Early Arrival through your Campus Connection, Self-Service, On-Campus Housing.
Early Arrival Applications must be received by the Housing Office at least 5 days before your arrival. Late applications will receive a $25 fee. No accommodation can be guaranteed.
Early Arrival housing is charged to your Minot State student account at a rate of $20.00/student/night unless otherwise approved through a Minot State-sponsored group.
Minot State Residence Life office cannot guarantee residence in your fall assignment will be available before August 1.
Once you check into your room, you are responsible for all Early Arrival charges. Checking in to Early Arrival Housing initiates the Residence Hall Fall Housing Agreement with Minot State.
HOW TO CHECK-IN
Check-ins are at your assigned residence hall.
Regular check-in times are available every day starting August 1, - August 22, 4:00 pm5:30 pm. Before August 1 check-ins will be coordinated through the Residence Life & Housing office.

FOOTBALL- Saturday, August 3: 9:00 am-11:00 am or 4:00 pm-5:30 pmWOMEN'S SOCCER- Friday, August 16: 4:00 pm-5:30 pm
VOLLEYBALL- Friday, August 16: 4:00 pm-5:30 pm
MEN’S SOCCER- Monday, August 19: 4:00 pm-5:30 pm
CROSS COUNTRY/TRACK- Friday, August 16: 4:00 pm-5:30 pm
POWER- Wednesday, August 21: 3:00 pm-5:30 pm
ORIENTATION LEADERS- Wednesday, August 21: 3:00 pm-5:30 pm
NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION- Wednesday, August 21: 3:00 pm-5:30 pm
MARCHING BAND- Thursday, August 22: 1:00 pm-5:30 pm
