November ushers in Free Application Month at Minot State University

MINOT, N.D. – For the first time ever, Minot State is waiving all admission application fees for any and all applicants to the University during the month of November.

“This is a great opportunity for prospective students to fill out a free application when they are considering attending Minot State and to learn about our programs, athletics, and student engagement,” said Sydney Clark, admissions counselor. “They can make Minot State their next home by being a part of Free Application Month.”

The Free Application Month follows on the heels of the University’s Hometown Pride Scholarship launch, a new, automatic scholarship for area high school students.

“We want to provide the opportunity to apply free of charge to all students, those that couldn’t take advantage of the Bank of North Dakota refund in state, and to encourage out-of-state and international students to apply early,” said Jacek Mrozik, associate vice president of enrollment management and graduate school.
